Hotel History
Celebrated as one of Manhattan's earliest luxury hotels, Hotel Belleclaire opened its doors to guests in 1903, stunning them with a unique blend of Beaux-Arts architecture and Art Nouveau-Secessionist style. Many of its early guests included the renowned, among them Mark Twain, Maxim Gorky, and Babe Ruth, all of whom helped establish the legacy and reputation that Hotel Belleclaire holds to this day.
