Green Initiatives including biodegradable products, energy efficient guestrooms. The resort will have numerous water filling stations throughout the property to help reduce the use of plastic bottles.
All new LED light bulbs and fixtures will be used throughout the resort.
The installation of solar panels on numerous buildings will result in an energy savings of 44%. This extensive undertaking will put the Islander Resort on the map as one of the most successful “Green Hotels” in the Florida Keys.
